Sharon Warwas’s Pilates journey began in 2005 when she received her first teaching certification through Peak Pilates, a classical method. This certification program enabled her to instruct clients on the three main Pilates apparatuses- Mat, Reformer, and Cadillac. In 2006 she expanded her education and training with Peak Pilates programs, allowing her to bring additional Pilates apparatus like the Wunda Chair, Step Barrel, and Ladder Barrel, to her clients. Since then Sharon has taught both mat and reformer group classes and has created personalized client programs for one-on-one sessions. While attending the University of Houston, Sharon taught Mat classes at the school’s Rec Center. In 2011 she gained an additional certification through Body Arts and Science International, which adds a more contemporary and evolved Pilates method to her repertoire. Sharon has worked with many different types of individuals with a variety of fitness needs, including clients with different types of injuries such as herniated discs and frozen shoulder. Sharon enjoys helping clients conquer and overcome injuries witnessing the benefits of Pilates and its role in achieving a healthy body. This personal journey through Pilates has further enhanced her understanding
